GRAND OPENING APRIL 1st, 2009!

Welcome to Fort Carson at Blue Lake RV Resort! We are excited to get our 20 acre RV Resort and Group Facility underway for the 2009 season. We acquired the Resort in 2008, and are currently implementing major renovation for the 2009 season. This summer we will introduce many newly constructed and improved amenities and services (read below). And with the Casino, Golf Course, tons of recreational activities and Bonner Ferry, Idaho just a few miles away, you can bring the whole family! We are only 22 miles north of Sandpoint, Idaho. Our onsite managers will make you feel like family!

This year, we are proud to introduce:

Upgraded 50amp Pull-Thrus: Our 14 full hookup pull thru sites have all been freshly upgraded with 50amp service, compacted gravel, borders and native landscaping. There have unobstructed & filtered views of our beautiful lake, looking down off a small bluff. A perfect site if your passing through and desire an easy in and out, or have a big group of RVs together.

New 50 or 100amp Super Sites: Our 3 Supersites are our 40 ft. wide premeire sites. They include a covered picnic table looking over a small bluff to an unobstructed view of Blue Lake. They are near the Bathhouse, Laundry, and Clubhouse. You'll want to stay in these sites all summer!

100amp Mega Sites. Blue Lake has 8 huge wooded sites developed to accomodate the largest RVs available on the market, including Park Models. These sites feature a woody, private space with room for your RV and a Park Model. Bring your RV or buy one of our Park Models and come and go all year! We welcome extended stays.

Boutique Tenting! Camp in one of our Civil War style Pole tents. They feature wood floors, a double bed (bring your own bedding or rent linens), and have a table inside. The Pole Tents have wood stoves! Enjoy your picnic table and bbq ring just outside.

16x16 Lakeside Deck. Situated lakeside, our lakeside deck is perfect for ceremonies, bands or just sitting on the lake. Facing the Deck and Lake is our tiered amphitheater, designed for lawnchairs or benches to provide a perfect place for an audience. Whether you're watching a wedding, band, one of old Western movies or just the lake, our deck has the perfect foreground and backdrop.

New Clubhouse & Kitchen: We are completely renovated the old lakside building and added a beautiful wrap around cover porch facing the lake. The Clubhouse features an updated FULL kitchen, bath and will seat up to 60 guests. Extend your seating on the covered porch to 80. Extend to the lakeside for 100s! When groups aren't using the clubhouse, it's open to all guests to watch Satellite TV, play some ping pong or a board game, or just sit by the woodstove. Cozy!

New Sports Dock: Take a dip, fish, or rent one of our row or pedal boats on our pictureque 2 acre stream-fed lake, stocked with trout and catfish. Our lake is perfect for nonmotorized groups interesting in training water groups. Whether its kayaking, water dog training, advanced swimming, or scuba diving, we have a great place to train and a place to lodge everyone..

Lakeshore: Besides the lakeside deck and dock, we have 2 Community Beachside Firepits on the lake, and plenty of picnic tables and BBQs nearby. You can also play a game of horseshoes or lawn chess. Enjoy some shade under our beach sunshades or lounge on our boat hammock! (If we're lucky, our wood-fired sauna and wood-fired hot tub will also be a finished!)

Spotless Laundry & Bathhouse. The restrooms and showers are being completely renovated from the ground up. If you been here before, you won't recognize it anymore! We have 4 full private bathrooms, one handicapped accessible. Our laundry facility features 2 coin operated washer/dryers, and hosts a tread mill with a TV for your enjoyment. Everything is upgraded and fresh!

24-Hour Security. We have the most friendly and helpful managers in the state! They live at the park 24/7 and will make you feel at home.
